Web Solutions' project development process consists of a number of stages with staged client approvals or milestones. Projects are generally scoped through client meetings and for complete websites a sitemap to establish a brief for your project. This allows us to estimate or quote your project in writing.
Upon approval to proceed Web Solutions schedules your project and begins initial development (see Stage 1 below). For complete website projects we provide you with a 'client package' to help us work effectively together.
The development phase involves a number of stages:
- Stage 1 - design and/or initial programming development. Upon preliminary completion we engage you to check and proof relevant designs and/or documents. We rely on your feedback and Milestone approval of this stage to allow construction (Stage 2 of your project) to begin.
- Stage 2 involves the construction of a skeleton site to allow client's content to be inserted. We provide you with time to proof and check the development site and rely on your feedback for any minor alterations that are required before going live. A final Milestone approval is required to allow the site to be tested and deployed (made live) on your preferred host server.
