QUT has a distinctive corporate image reflecting its vocational heritage, and close links with industry and the professions. The positioning line of "a university for the real world" underlines the job relevance of QUT courses and the problem-solving nature of its research. QUT corporate marketing has helped reinforce the QUT brand and the qualities associated with that brand in the market place.
To continually strengthen this presence and within the framework of QUT's Marketing Communication Plan, Marketing Services provides strategic advice and assistance to faculties and divisions on marketing communication across a range of audience groups.
Marketing Services is responsible for managing the QUT brand and, as part of an integrated approach, advises on and approves all communication materials in line with new visual identity guidelines (refer to MOPP Policy F/2.1).
